I might have posted this some time ago, but I'll try it again -- learned at the kitchen table as my telegrapher dad taught me the code:

They serve it in the army and they call it hash.
Sure, that's right, that's exactly what it means.
I'll vote for the Stouffers too, it's pretty good, and the best I can get since my wife got tired of making it for me (years ago!), which meant I would do it, or Stouffers would.
It's sort of thin -- I like to add some small things, like maybe shaved ham, sautéed onion and/or pepper -- nothing drastic. The hard-cooked eggs sound like they could work, once in a while.
