RE: Mya's Sushi Logbook Entry
In Atlanta we we have Ru Sans, a high volume, high energy, VERY LOUD place with a lot of sushi varieties including some creative rolls and the nigri is generally priced by the piece. Ru Sans has a big turnover and the fish has always been fresh in my experience, if perhaps a little below the highest grade. They also have teriyaki sticks and other Japanese items as small plates or snackportions as well as dinners.
If it is not road food, as described by several on this message board, then I don't know what is.
At the other end of the scale hereabouts is Magic Fingers (MF) sudhi which has some of the best around but with a very different atmosphere and price structure. I would NOT call MF Sushi "road food" but would recommend it to anyone seeking one of the best experiences that Atlanta has to offer.
