A NY combo is born: cupcakes that are iced with one half vanilla nd one half chocolate icing. Sold at Zaro's.

Sorry, but nothing even comes close to a real Black & White. A large vanilla cookie with a dark chocolate frosting ( almost a ganache) side and a beautiful vanilla frosting side (sometimes with just a touch of lemon). I have used a recipe from "Gourmet" for the smaller version of these and they are really pretty good. I just don't think a "cupcake" would have enough surface for all the frosting.
