Bambino Huey is served in two San Antonio Italian restaurant that I know of. One is great, called Bacone's. Great Italian food and owner is from Connecticut.

The other is:

B.H. is available in some San Antonio and Austin supermarkets. It comes in a box with the picture shown on the menu in the link. There is also a description of what it is. It is a unique cake/cream dish served warm or hot. It is a dessert that must be experienced.

J & M should try the bambino huey next time they come to SA. It would make a great piece in Gourmet for unusual restaurants.

The only way to describe it would be to say it's like a molten version of gooey butter cake topped with whipped cream. When I can afford the calories we like to add fresh strawberries. Oh so good.

And I think you can find the frozen version of them in most of the H-E-B stores in Central and South Texas.
