Pringles ARE a potato snack. Or maybe we should rule that a banana isn't a banana because it's mostly water?! Screw the stupid governments.

The Pringles formula for the UK is slightly different. The US version does not have corn flour (starch?) Here is the page listing ingredients for UK's Original Flavor Pringles:
http://www.pringles.co.uk/en_GB/range_base.aspx?flav=ori
which are:
Dehydrated potatoes, vegetable oil, vegetable fat, corn flour, wheat starch, maltodextrin, emulsifier: E 471, salt, rice flour, and dextrose.

Most of the 'real' British chips (they call them crisps) are really quite good.

The vending machine at my office carries a great selection of Maltodextrin, and for those watching their figures, Dextrose.
