I had them at the old Tiger Stadium a few years ago and thought they were the best hot dog I ever had at a ballpark. They had these little grills set up here and there, the dogs were nice and burnt and came with a heap of grilled onions. Good times.

What are we talking here? Hebrew National? 999? International Glatt? Empire National? Meal Mart? Postville?

No None of those it is called LOUIE'S ALL AMERICAN KOSHER HOT DOGS
i saw them in a few local supermarkets and they taste great.

Abie, advertisers don't fare too well here. Our resident hot dog expert, John Fox,  found out that Louie's Hot Dogs (and I guess you are talking about local Miami supermarkets) are made on the west side of Berry Street between Grand and North First Streets in Williamsburgh, Brooklyn. Drive about 3 miles from there and you can buy other products from that firm at the Western Beef Supermarket.
 
I will grant you that the manufacturer does turn out high quality products.

ok...so if Best's Kosher Hot Dogs are no longer being produced...then just how old are the ones I've seen in Sam's Club....I didn't buy any, as I had a bunch of Sabrett's at home.....but...makes you wonder.

I'm sure the ones made in Chicago by Best Kosher are past their "sell by" date by now. Is your Sam's Club possibly selling the franks made by Best Provision Company, Inc. of Newark, NJ?
