My favorite part of the weekend is firing up the Weber.

Today Food Lion had steaks on sale. I threw a couple in the freezer and one on the grill.

This TBone turned out well.

Weber and Charcoal Rocks!

Good Grilling to You!

Sea salt, fresh cracked pepper and a little Cavanders.

Dammit, I never remember to take pictures. I fired-up a nice boneless ribeye tonite. Just a little olive oil and a good shake of "Montreal Steak Seasoning" on each side. Looked quite a bit like that steak above. Probably tasted as good too. :-)

Looks more like a Porterhouse than a T-Bone to me. Nice hunk of meat!

Mike, that is the kind of steaks I plan on grilling up on my new cast iron griddle pan.

Ever use one? If so, any advice?

You didn't actually eat it off the paper plate, right? The plate is too clean, one shot to the next.

JAKE- We use a cast-iron skillet often to do our Steaks. Just a touch of Bacon-fat, heat it up good and let'em go. Works for us every time!

McDuff, Our older Scottie saw the 'Bone' Photo and started wagging his tail in approval..He expects that to arrive shortly. Let me know when you ship it !

Our local Market has the T-Bones at $5.99 a LB this week. I called in my order for 15, cut 1.5 inches thick and using the first four or five cuts from the 'Porterhouse end'. Our local guy knows his beef, and (so far) has honored my requests for the larger filet pieces.

We used to each eat one of this beauties (with some left-overs scraps), but now One does it just fine for the two of us. This leaves us with one great doggie-bone, and Two Doggies to satisfy. OHHH, The decisions !!

Best part of a T-bone or bone-in ribeye, is gnawing on the bone!

Sorry, when I hear Food Lion I think of 20/20.

But, that was a long time ago.
