RE: HOOKAH ???
Some friends and I went to the Darvish Persian Tea House in Roswell, GA a few weeks back. It's a huge un-fancy place that draws in plenty of the Mideastern community here - there seemed to be a few birthday parties going on. Hookahs were offered, and when you're lying on a platform floor propped up on cushions eating good food and watching belly dancers, a hookah would fit in nicely. Me, I don't smoke, but the group next to us did, and I didn't get even a whiff of theirs. All in all, quite nice.
But just thinking of a straight-up hookah bar, I get ten-year-old images of wannabe hipsters choking on cigars and martinis - can't see it lasting too long.
