I am torn on this one- I love Butter Burgers and here in Indiana getting a good cheese curd is the best!!! We only get these at a Culvers however, so I am not sure that I have had the "real" thing yet... I vote for all of the above, anything coming form Wisconsin that involves any type of cheese has to be darn good.... There is some good eats coming from these parts of of the U.S

As much as I enjoy butter burgers and Sheboygan brats, I can't visit Wisconsin without a visit to Racine and enjoying a kringle. So, that was my choice.

Had it been an option, I may have voted for hopple popple, though. Eating that dish at Benji's last year was one of my all-time favorite breakfasts. I have no idea if that is just a Wisconsin thing, though.

Have never had booyah. Truthfully, had never heard of it before this poll. Looking forward to seeking it out on my next visit. Is it easy to find?

I will say that I have gained a great respect for ALL types of dishes and treats (and beverages) we have "discovered" in Wisconsin in the last couple of years! It is a treasure-house of good eating and drinking!!

I've never seen it in a restaurant myself. I think it is more of an eat-at-home/church supper type of dish.

Wisconsin has a great variety of foods and all are very good. I had my very first butter burger at Culvers. My best sausages are from Wisconsin and the best German Food I ever had was in Wisconsin and the best cheese was in Wisconsin.

We have a store in Green Bay and the father of one of the employees there regularly makes booyah in 50-gallon batches for American Legion events, or 7-gallon batches in a turkey fryer when smaller quantities are called for. He'll keep it in the freezer for up to a year.

And there's always the trusted Wikipedia entry.

Never been there but from all the raves I've heard, I would have to say butter burgers because the recipe was given to me and I made it and its delicious.

Several years ago, Roz and I traveled up to the tip of Wisconsin for the famous fish boil and the event was fun to watch but the fish itself in my personal opinion was way over rated.  Nice drive though. Nice cherry pie places along the way.  We stayed in Greenbay and Roz bought lotsa of Packer stuff at the stadium gift store.
