With winter just around the corner, we've decided to convert out hot dog cart into a soup cart. The plan is to serve 3 soups. What is your favorite soup? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

French Onion, followed by New England Clam. Number 3 is a tie----Chinese hot and soup or Wor Won Ton Soup.

Don't think you could go wrong with chicken noodle as a choice.
Tortilla soup is good too on a cold day!

It always makes me nervous when people confuse chili with soup. Too many peoples chili are really vegetable bean soup in disguise.

I love soup.

Potato - delicious, pure simplicity to make and keeps well. Might not be popular with the Atkins crowd.

Ham and bean - current favorite. Deeply nourishing.

Onion - if not done well, not worth doing at all. If done well, worth everything.

Chowder, clam or fish, is always welcome. To my taste, however, a clear broth is best for the former, no milk or cream.

I like a good minestrone or lentil soup.

I love soup! A nice, thick, hardy chicken noodle soup. Or even a thick beef stew, yum

Tried Manhattan clam chowder this weekend...so good. Might be making it to my top ten list. Probably better for us than creamy NE variety.

Try one vegatarian: black bean or lentil.
