Here's two more chains with food that is, IMHO, roadfood-worthy......
Eat n' Park restaurants and Hoss's Steakhouses, both located primarily in western Pennsylvania. I've had enjoyable experiences at both, especially Hoss's - I had a great chopped steak and baked potato the one time that I ate there. I've had some pretty good burgers at Eat n' Park too, and I wouldn't hesitate to stop at either one.

There is a Pancho's in Mesquite Tx. that I think is Roadfood worthy. Great Green Chile Stew, and most everything is good. For desert they have an ice cream bar. I always leave happy. Not all Pancho's are this good!

        dexmat-
It is reviewed in both the 2008 and 1992 Roadfood books.

The one I own must still be packed away as I can't find it but I'm sure it wasn't either one of those.  I'll have to look for some of the others at Half Price Books.

Vitello, are you talking about the crepe place??? If so, the one in downtown Milwaukee closed in the late 70s. But I always enjoyed it...what a blast from MY past!!!

I recommend the 2008 version of Road. Check out page 552 and you will see why it is my favorite.

There is an old, but good, thread here somewhere about the Magic Pan. They were lotsa fun!

                  I've reported Billy K.

I think he must be 13 or younger.

Anyone not in the area of Culvers needs to check it out if you ever see one in your travels. Around here there is a local chain called Cinderz that is also really good.

Worked at the Culver's in Platteville WI 20 years ago - Craig Culver on fries for the first couple of weeks. That place was the cleanest and freshest place I've had had the pleasure to work at. In Madison now and just looked at their websitee. Glad to see how much they've spread!

One of the pleasant suprises of Clan Jackson's recent vacation in Orlando was our stop enroute at the Newberry exit in Gainesville, where we found a Whataburger.  I had never been to a Whataburger before

The burgers we had were large, tasty, with a very fresh bun and toppings.  Excellent!

We liked it so well we hit them on the way back to Cincinnati as well!

One quibble - the fries there were not very good, skip them

Whataburger is a long time Texas tradition. I did not know they had spread so far.

Well Joe... you were down at the coast w/ all that good sea food. Maybe a Whataburger next visit though.
