AN RF QUICKIE: Pretzels around Seattle
-
Wed, 01/7/09 1:09 PM
I got to the Puget Sound and stopped at the PCC Natural Market as I know they feature the spectacular fresh pretzels from Morning Star Bakery in Ravenna. Best I've ever had: ... a locally brewed root beer and I was a happy guy. PCC Stores are all over the area. I know of one in Kirkland and one in Issaquah ... they also are for sale at the bakery at Pike's market. Nobody has these pretzels on Mondays, the bakery's day off. Then it was me heading 350 miles to central Oregon in a crappy little rental car ... never got going faster than 45 MPH, thinking I didn't want to drive any faster than I was willing to slide. http://www.yelp.com/biz/morning-star-bakery-seattle http://www.pccnaturalmarkets.com/

seatown76 Good to see some pictures of home for me. What kind of Root Beer was it? Something local, off the shelf, in the upscale soda section.

That Pretzel looks so good, I love them with mustard.. yes mustard. A fair food weakness is always the hot Pretzel. The snow looks a bit scary..
