Anyone know somewhere in NJ where I can find great fish and chips now that the Chippery is gone?

I was talking to my friend the other day and told him the Chippery closed, he could not believe it. We were talking about other places that do f&c but could not think of any really good places. Will let you know for sure, and I am waiting on someones recommendation.

Two of the most famous places in NJ are The Thistle & Fish & Chips: and The Argyle: Argyle Restaurant 212 Kearny Ave., Kearny, New Jersey 201-991-3900 I’ve been to them both once or twice over the years and I’ll leave any judgment to the individual. As for The Chippery in Fanwood , where I had eaten many times – the last time I was there I saw their prices and left and never returned.

Sorry about the weird bold and letter size. I copied & pasted from MS Word and that's the way it came out

"Stewards of Kearny" has a small restaurant in Pt. Pleasant and it has GREAT Fish & Chips and also great Scottish meat pies and such....I'm sure they would have a location in Kearny too!!!!
