Dear Roadfoodie,

We are excited to have you join us for the Shrimp & Crawfish boil on Saturday night in New Orleans.  It is sure to be a memorable event!

Please remember to bring your PayPal receipt and a form of identification to the bus so you can check in.  Three buses will depart from the corner of Canal and Royal Street (on the outskirts of the French Quarter) at 5:40 PM, 6:00 PM, and 6:20 PM sharp.  Feel free to choose any of the three bus times, as boarding will be done on a first-come first-serve basis.  Buses will arrive back to the French Quarter around 10:15 PM to 10:45 PM.

See you in about three weeks!

The Roadfood Team

Stephen, any chance of getting an assigned bus.  What happens if an overflow crowd decides to show up for the late(last) bus?  Joe

Hi Joe,

Buses will leave once they are full, so their is no chance of anyone being left behind.

An earlier post said out names would be on a list, so not to worry about paperword.

We are in nola, in a hotel, and I dont have a way to print out my Paypal receipt.

I hope that's ok, because I don;t want to have to hang off the side of the bus.

See you in a few hours!!!!!

Just wanted to say THANKS to the organizers of the Saturday nite event.  My husband and I drove in from St. Charles, MO, and are delighted we did.   The venue has been delicious and we hope that next year's will be much the same.  The grounds of the Bayou Barn were awesome, and we even caught site of some of the local gators!  What a trip.....
We opted out of the "jingle contest" but wanted to share here what we think about the whole roadfood concept:

WE ARE ROADIES,
WE ARE FOODIES,
WE ARE JANE & MICHAEL'S ROADFOODIES.
FROM ONE STATE TO ANOTHER IN SEARCH OF TASTY GOODIES.
PAST OUR GUMS AND INTO OUR TUMS,
'TIS ALL ABOUT WHERE THE NEXT FETE DO DO COMES FROM!!!

Looking forward to 2010!!!
