scores/reward points

Was looking at my profile and just noticed I had a -2 score and no reward points. What are these and have I been that bad a poster?

It is my understanding that the "Reward Points" feature is a function of the forum software that is not used in Roadfood.com.  The scoring system however, is enabled.  You can rate a post by using the options tab.  The rating system is based on a "star" system.  You can rate a particular post from 1 star (worst) to 5 stars (best).  This scoring system is here to stay.  This topic has been discussed ad nauseum in other forums around Roadfood.  Just search under post rating, scoring etc... 
 
Don't take your "score" personally.  We haven't had a big problem in the Rest. Pro Forum with members giving punitive ratings, and hopefully we won't have.  I can see who rates each post.  While we can't patrol every rating, blatant abuse of this feature will not be tolerated.  Abuse will result in offenders being banned.

LMAO that's what I tell my staff. Well almost, I tell them abusers will be killed. But only after the shift is over.

My understanding of this is the lowest score receives a fruitcake in the mail. Good for 40 yrs. Traceable, microchip embedded, so no regifting.
If you win someone from Publishers Clearing House, Nigeria Division, will be contacting you at there earliest convenience, or whenever you are not in the mood.
 
Don't quote me but the scuttlebutt is an interview and guest appearance on the  'THE VIEW' is in the works.

Well, thanks to the 5 star ratings a few of us gave your post.. you are now plus 4!

I ended up going negative when I posted about those roller burger dogs from the gas station ( you know the cheeseburger shaped like a hot dog?) but after I commented asking why so negative, lots of people came back with positives.

Last I checked I was at like 7.

I don't know what it is... I don't care about my score but having it negative is kind of bothersome!!

Why not your 'splaning' was really to the point. Couldn't find anything lower as the 'Dark Side' does. Just seperating the points between us but now am back on plus side. I'll never get my fruit cake, hate buying those new fangled door stops. My 15 min. of fame is out the window since Woopie and the Gang won't get to meet me.
Oh Well next year.
 

Scott, I don't believe the mail would be able to deliver a fruitcake to your business because it would probally weigh to much so the Road Food honchoes would have to have it air dropped or strapped on the side of a scud missle or something like that to get it to you. You could then just cut it up into five lb. chunks and give it away a piece at a time with a hot dog purchase.

Can use my reward points, if i happen to get any, with my airline miles to maybe get home this year ?
