When I first saw the heading for this thread, I thought it said Chips and Crisps.

"Oh my," I said, "A lovely story about potato snack products in the British Isles...wait...what?...ooooooohhh, Crips!  Never mind then."

Sorry, chips, old boy. No confusion intended. That said and on a more pleasant note, I just came across this photo of you and I taken last time I was in Portland.

Take care.

LOL, I-95! Back in the late 70's, Milwaukee had a guy who owned alot of those ice cream trucks that would go around the neighborhood selling frozen treats. Along with cocaine. Apparently someone noticed his employees were driving Mercedes and such along with himself, and alerted police.Huge story back then.

I guess you could say, "When the Chips are Down, The Guns Come Out!"" />" />
Or "Beware of Greeks Bearing Guns!!"

"[Lexington Market] is now perhaps better known for its blight, a place where drugs trade hands openly - and, now, where illegal guns are allegedly available to anyone, even gang members."

This is the same market from which we get Roadfoodie reports about Faidley's, etc.?

MD-
I have always felt safe at Lexington Market (been there twice in the last year) and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
