hatteras04 I once need a little more liquid for some chili so I added some Spicy V-8. It got rave reviews so it is now a regular ingredient.
WarToad I only like my V-8 with a splash of worchester, celery salt, several hits of tobasco, fresh cracked black pepper, more tobasco, and 2 shots vodka.
Foodbme I like V8 but save money on Store Brands. Not quite the same but a buck a can cheaper. Gonna try low sodium next
Twinwillow I also buy the low sodium V-8 juice. It's Very good for you. Especially without all the salt added.
highcard My wife likes Zing Zang for her bloody mary's
mayor al I like both the regular and the spicy flavors of V8. We have been buying V8 by the case in the individual serving size. In another example of the slight of hand in packaging, the V8 is in 11.5 oz cans (not 12 oz) !! Costco has had coupons giving a $3.00 discount on the case purchase. I like the smaller cans, as I can restrain my intake to one can...If I open a 46 oz can, I am more likely to drink more of it than 11.5 oz before I put it away. In fact It is real easy to knock down one of those big cans if you aren't careful !!
Foodbme I heat up equal parts of Veggie Juice and Veggie Broth to steaming but not a boil and it makes a great refreshing drink!
Davydd Another old thread revival I don't think I ever responded to. I drink Trader Joe's Low Sodium Garden Patch which is a V8 knockoff with better taste and tang, IMO.
ann peeples Good to know, Davydd-have a Trader Joe's right by my work. Love that place.
