best fried clams in portland?

I've heard portland lobster company is good but it makes me nervous that it's on commercial street, the tourist center. I'm more familiar with the Brunswick/Harpswell area so any suggestions for Great Portland would be appreciated.

OK, so this is both a two year late response and to a, well, er...less than active poster but I thought this the best place to post last month's great review of the Portland Lobster Company in the Portland (Maine) Press Herald:

"Portland Lobster Co. is awesome."

Anyone yet been?
