My neighbor has a Mulberry tree-and she always tells us to grab all of them. My mother-in-law makes a wonderful pie with them...

There are a couple of U-Pick Blueberry Farms close to us. Janet has planned an early morning Picking-expedition tomorrow morning. Our wild Blackberries should be ready in a week or so.

NYPIzzaNut My wife and I were out in Adams County Ohio yesterday and we picked up probably the two finest tasting combo blueberry/blackberry turnovers we ever feasted on, here: http://www.ohiotraveler.com/ohio_amish_stores.htm#bulk http://www.ohiotraveler.com/ohio_amish_stores.htm#bakery This Amish complex is one of the joys of living in the boonies of southwest Ohio. Visited their bakery again and found out the two berry turnover is now a 3 berry turnover with the addition of red raspberries. I just finished mine and I think the red raspberries were the predominant berry and I thought the flavor overall was lacking - I liked the two berry version MUCH better.
