Stroud's in KCMO, new web site.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but Stroud's in KC has a spiffy new web site.  Planning a trip there in a few weeks, and the new site is much better and much more inviting.

By the way, which location is recommended?  I am planning on the Northern one by the golf course.  i realize neither is the "original" Stroud's, but which is the better of the two, or does it make no real difference?

I am getting hungry for some chicken and taters.

The Manor House location up north has more character.  The new location in Kansas replaces the original location on 85th Street and is rather sterile by comparison to either.  Having eaten at both locations within a one year period, I have not seen any difference in the food quality.

Cool, the Manor House is a bit better suited to our plans, so that will be the place.

The Kansas location has much longer hours.  I believe they open at 11:00 am.

Yeah, we will be going later at night, so shouldn't make much of a difference.  Thanks for all the info folks.

I had a wonderful meal at Stroud's ( fried chicken, of course ) about ten years ago, and I eagerly await my visit to the Manor House location in February. I'm driving down to Charleston SC that month for the RF Glee Club gathering, and I'm going via Kansas City, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Baton Rouge, Mobile and Birmingham ( whew! ) This might make a pretty decent trip report; what do y'all think?
