I never thought I'd want to dine with a critic (get enough from my wife) and this story settled it for me. After reading this story I think critics should be required to eat alone.

What Mr. Bruni reminds us of is that reviewing restaurants is work, not pleasure.

I just thought it was funny that he's not immune from all the little dysfunctional-diner issues we sometimes encounter here.  People, as always, are the problem that just won't go away.  :)
