Chicken in Puff Pastry - Fri, 08/21/09 11:25 PM
5
Saw a recipe that caught my eye this evening.... I just happened to have "Pub Cheese" in the house, as I love it with crackers..
So... voila!..
Here is the finished product..
I never said I was good at continuity....if anyone has seen my runza's they would know better to expect perfection....
But it taste's fantastic!

Recipe link is below photo..

Yeah yeah yeah.. I forgot to turn the seam down.... I heard ya!

Oh Yum...
One word of caution, Dont put salt on the chicken, as the cheese spread has plenty... I used some lemon pepper and its a bit salty,........

You know, that looks pretty damned good. I may just have to try it.

But it's not purple.

I think the hardest part of all, is rolling out the dough.. LOL.. It was VERY easy....I think I will put some fresh lightly steamed spinach on top of the chicken next time before I wrap it.....

Ah, purple mushrooms. Isn't that the name of some silly song.

Hmmm.... all I can think of is purple haze, from which you get from eating purple mushrooms......

Wow, those sure look nice Tara! I will try this recipe in the near future. I will have to get puff pastry dough as I don't usually keep it in my freezer.

I can still see those purple Runzas in my dreams!!  LOL
