Dog friendly northwest? Fri, 08/28/09 3:01 AM (permalink)
The wife and I are going to be cruising around the northwest for the next 2 or 3 months camping and traveling. Nor-cal, Oregon and Washington then as far out as yellowstone and denver (for the great american beer fest). Possibly hitting nevada/arizona/so-cal if we are enjoying ourselves and decide to never come back to reality.  We are bringing Casper the basset hound along for the ride so are looking for suggestions of dog friendly places with outdoor seating to grab some food on our trip. Cheap and good would be nice but halfway decent with cold beer would be ok.

The Tin Shed in Portland, oregon is the most dog friendly place i have ever seen. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant and there is even a doggie menu. The human food, notably the veggie potatoes and the Monte Cristo French Toast is also roadfood worthy. The place is often crowded but worth it.
