Got shafted by Bud Selig, who bet $400,000,000 of money that wasn't his when he built Miller Park, after it got voted down TWICE by the people who got stuck with it? Good bet! My point is, what Pete Rose does with his own money is nobody's business except his. What Selig does with taxpayer money is the business of the taxpayer. Did Pete bet against his own team? Let's see, he never thinks he'll lose, so what would that get him? The league is a quagmire, so why should any individual or team be held to a higher standard? Doping's been going on forever, as have scandals like the Black Sox, so stop whining and do something to stop it if it bothers you so much. What can I do? Ensure that none of the money involved was mine to the best of my limited ability by NOT going to see any games or buy any trading cards or other junk I really don't need.
