Here's a nice BBQ Style Sauce for Hot Dogs:

Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce
Ingredents:

1/2 Cup packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar
1/3 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
3TBSP Tomato Paste
2 Tsp Ancho Chili Powder
1 Tsp ground White Pepper
1 Tsp kosher Salt

8 Hot Dogs & Buns
Your choice of Toppers such as sliced Jalapenos, pickles, chopped onions, Etc.

Prep;
Saute Onion, Garlic and melted butter in a sauce pan over medium heat until tender.
Add all other sauce ingredients. Simmer Covered for 15 minutes.
Remove lid and cook about 20-30 minutes until it thickens. Remove from heat and cool.
Puree the sauce in a blender or with a "Boat Motor" until smooth.
Cook your Hot Dogs by any method you prefer.
Serve with buns & toppers. Makes 4 cups of sauce.

Made it last weekend, put it on a rack of babybacks, drizzled on some grilled Hofmann hot dogs, and also used it for dipping Atomic Buffalo Turds in. Everybody loved it! I separated half of it out and bumped the heat up with some Sriracha.

ABTs are basically cored or halved chiles stuffed with whatever you want.  After filling they can be wrapped with bacon, and it seems like they're usually grilled (that's how I cook them).
