Clamato ... What is it about this stuff ???

Clamato ... It is everything I try to avoid, all in one handy can or bottle.

High fructose corn syrup, MSG (more of it than salt) and salt !!!



Oh, and it apparently has only .01% clam.

Yet, for some unexplained reason, I can't resist the stuff.  If I see it in the store, I am mysteriously compelled to buy it.  If I have it in the car in a grocery bag, I have to drink some on the way home.  And, if I'm home and I open the fridge, I have to finish it.

I prefer fresh squeezed clams. 

Yikes! The sodium content!

Water is ok. Not like they are using sewer water I guess.
 
Clamato may be the perfect storm of bad ingredients for you. It should not be long before someone starts "so...what are your perfect storm items?" thread.

Yikes! Clamato itself! I love tomatoes, but it'll be a cold day in Hades before I ever drink that evil concoction.
