Put it in your cranberry sauce
In your sweet potatoes
In your whipped cream
In your pancake, waffle and french toast batter
In your egg nog (obviously)
In your pumpkin pie
In your fruit salad with lots of apples!!!
In your salad dressing
In your mopping, or BBQ sauce
In your coffee

Fall, Thanksgiving, its bourbon time!!!
What do you use it in, any tips (not tipsy) appreciated.

Skip the glass--
A simple Straw served with the bottle will do fine.

If we are going to get fancy using a 64 oz Slupee Cup will dress things up quite nicely.

Go to McDonalds.........order   a breakfast  sandwich   and  a  large  coffee.   Drink  half the  coffee and then   pour   some  bourbon  (hidden  in your  pocket)  into  the coffee and  it will be the best  breakfast that you  ever had at  a fast food restaurant.

Bourbon and hot chocolate are a great mix!!!

I also soak the inevitable fruit cake in it until it becomes palatable ( about 6-12 months.)

I like to marinate pork with it; along with some spices, sage, and brown sugar.

Sauce Anglaise with Bourbon for bread pudding.

Finally, in a glass with a little branch water.

We found a great recipe for a ham baste that used bourbon - family said it was the best they'd ever tasted.

1/2C Bourbon (I use Jim beam)
1/2C Brown sugar
(1) 12oz bottle of chili sauce (Heinz is best)
Couple hits of your favorite hot sauce (I use Tobasco green)

Combine, boil, simmer on low one hour. Simmer about 8 good quality hot dogs in it for a nice lunch. Good as a BBQ sauce too.

I like to marinate raisins in Bourbon ( or sometimes Calvados) for an hour or so to add to Waldorf salad,  breakfast oatmeal, rice pudding, tapioca pudding, etc...

Cheers, John

That recipe omits any warning about what might happen when you add Bourbon to an already hot skillet.
