Biker Jim gets a special guest

Yesterday was a pretty good day at the cart.  There is some language, but no one expects this guy to be too PC.

That is so cool! When does it air? Anything fun/interesting from the shoot that you can talk about?

That's awesome man.  Keep up the great work.

First off, this guy can eat!  He wolfed down the first 3 brats...started faltering a bit on number 4, looked a little like he was hurting by number 5.  Us feeding him a slice of cheesecake for afters, well, that was just cruel.  He is a seriously nice guy.  We started getting a bit crowded with passerbys and he would sign anything, take a picture with anyone, answer any question.  That evening he did a lecture in a theater of about 3500 people...wearing a Biker Jim T-Shirt.  Almost peed my pants.  I am the luckiest hot dog guy around.

Well, now that Tony's been, I guess I ought to cruise over next time I'm in Colorado.

Biker Jim - You, sir, are living the good life.  I am bummed that I didn't get out to Denver to see you this year, but hopefully back on track next year!  Give my best to the lovely Mrs. Biker Jim...and stay reasonably warm this winter!

Congrats, Jim. I saw a show about a year ago that mentioned Tony grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey. It showed him visiting Hiram's, a popular Jersey hot dog joint.

Congratulations for the great work and the well-deserved publicity.  I think Anthony Bourdain should count himself fortunate to meet you.  Hope to make it to Denver one of these days and have some of that outstanding food.

I was able to see Bourdain at his Des Moines talk in October. I was one of the last in line to get his autograph. I mentioned that he looked tired. His comment: "It beats peeling carrots."
