LFD, you may want to check out my review of 521 BBQ in Indian Land, SC, just over the line from Charlotte/I-77.  Also, why don't you join us at Sweatman's BBQ to kick off the 2010 Glee Club meeting in Charleston over President's Day weekend?  All are welcome!    Chris

Thanks for the tip and for the invitation. I recently heard about 521 BBQ as a late comer on the BBQ seen but one not to drive by.
