Curbside Grill Do people actually do sliders at the home, which makes the product more attractive to the consumer at retail places. WE/I do the Juicy Lucy style. Love that hot cheese. Sure they do! Several companies make Slider Grills similiar to a George Foreman Grill. It's a big "As Seen On TV" item! What's a Juicy Lucy?????

Thats my theory as to why the buns are so hard to find. People love to order them but if they make burgers at home its usually big burgers. There are a few holdouts on things like parties, poker games and such.

Juicy Lucy came from upper midwest, Basicly a cheeseburger with the cheese inside. Patty, cheese, patty seal around the patties grill/cook, Any cheese will do,my favorite is pepper jack and Jalapino slices. Dress as reg burger. When you bite into that, hot molten cheese explosion. St. Paul, MN is where I discovered these. Swt potao fries goes well here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHPAb45fcr8&feature=response_watch

Finally found the Pepperidge Farms guy. They worked great. .19/bun and there is a good meat to bread ratio. Tried 80% lean meat and coudn't believe the difference from the 27% as far as shrinkage.

mrclean Hey Georgiadogs. You must be living right. Get on down to Target and look on the bottom shelve in the bread isle. You will find the best slider buns in the country. They are slider potato rolls sold by Martin's. The company is located in Pa and has the best bread. Ingles also sells this brand in the Atlanta area. You will pay about $3.00 a pack but they are well worth it. Look for coupons also somewhere around the item. I have one here that is .50 off which Ingles will double to $1.00. Good Luck http://www.potatoroll.com/index.asp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEccdJKg7sQ WOW, I gotta admit, Those burgers looked mighty good. I'm not always down for a sloppy looking burger UNLESS I know for a fact it tastes outta this world.

BillyB I sell 2oz burgers on cluster buns for a Wed night special for a Buck. The girl on that shift sells 40 to 60 of them in a half hour. The buns are .16 ea and the burgers are .19 ea...............Billyb Huh, 35% food cost is better than I thought it would be, but still high for a sandwich, IMO.
