I try to stop everytime I go by on I-74. That always works out to lunch. It's one of the best buffet lunches I know, but I'd like to hit some evening and try the steaks.

We use it as our meal stop on the run from Louisville to Baraboo WI to see my daughter and her family. Good Food, and comfortable surroundings.

I have a very odd connection to The Beef House. Back in the mid 70's I was a radio DJ in Danville, Illinois. I began dating and later married a woman who was the manager of..The Beef House! Got to eat there a lot for free. It was a great place to eat..hope it still is, as it is the ONLY decent memory I have of the area. You can figure out the rest.
