Well, its the day after Valentines Day and my house is filled with all sorts of chocolates made from all different companies, some of the finest you could find in New York.  But, I must say, I still think a Hershey Bar is my favorite chocolate. Its not heavy, I think thats what turns me off, a heavy chocolate.

I like Hershey's too. Right now I'm working on some Hershey's Kisses that were on sale after Valentines... red foil, you know

I think the best chocolate bars WERE Nestles milk chocolate bars back in the 60's & 70's.
 I forget when the taste changed but their not the same.

If I have to choose from American chocolates, then Dove.  Hershey's is a good second.

Dove dark for me...Hershey and Nestle are too waxy to my taste...

I preferred Nestles milk chocolate to Hersheys. In Canada, Aero bars are Nestles milk chocolate with little air bubbles in them. I can't tell whether the taste has changed from the 50s and 60s. To my taste, it hasn't.

Always thought that Nestle's had too much milky taste,,,,Hershey's is a good American brand...we've been to the factory tour many times....They know chocolate!!!
