Cucumber Water

Try this, incredibly refreshing, my wife had it at some spa. Pitcher of cold water, 6-8 thin slices of raw cucumber in it, refrigerate, in 15 minutes you get an incredibly refreshing drink. Use said cukes on your salad.

Right up my alley. We had an English pub in the neighborhood for awhile. They didn't make it but he taught me how to have a proper Pimm's Cup what with the cucumber and all. Years later, I meet X1 who tells me they are quite popular in New Orleans. Its hot today in Milwaukee so later tonight I'm going to try your suggestion. I think Milwaukee's Honey Pie Cafe garnishes their water glasses with cukes instead of lemon slices.

I prefer celery water or soda myself but I will try the cuke water too. David O.
