If one ate that stuff all the time, then fine..otherwise, food is made to be enjoyed in it's different permutations. Interestingly, some of that stuff does not look so bad, some looks downright delicious and wholesome.
I remember asking this personal trainer what she ate, and she snorted,: i ate blueberries and oatmeal for every breakfast, turkey breast and cottage cheese for lunch and dinner with steamed veggies, and plain fruit. So, i asked, do you not eat anything else. She said, no, and you could never follow my diet.
I thought it was so sad that all she ate was blueberries, oatmeal, broiled chicken, cottage cheese, and steamed veggies, there is so much out there to be enjoyed.
Eating is such a pleasure in life, it is not just to nourish our bodies.
Sorry, I digressed here. Like anything, things can be brought to an extreme.
