Great Syrian/middle eastern food: Damascus Restaurant, Allentown, PA

Great middle eastern food:   all is fresh made; salads are to die for especially the cabbage salad and Grandma's tomato salad.   I can never resist getting several salads when I go there.  they have very unusual breakfast too.

Damascus is one of my favorite restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. I agree with you on the salads, especially Grandma’s and the fatoush, although I’ve tried and enjoyed just about all of them over the years.

The kafta kabob sandwich is great for a takeout lunch and their Chicken Supreme dinner is perfectly seasoned.  The only items I've been disappointed with are some of the fried vegetables.  Everything else had been way above average.

It’s good home cooking, like eating at my grandmother’s house – that is, if she were Syrian instead of PA Dutch.
