In one of the suburbs of Metro-Lanesville, Indiana is the
Turtle-Run Winery. Since my sensitive Palate can't tell the difference between Welch's and Giant Value
Grape Juice, I don't know if the liquid they bottle has any real quality or not.
A bit further away, In Floyd Knobs, Indiana at the
Huber Family Farm Restaurant (and
Winery), one can find Wine made from various local fruits , such as Apple, Pear, Berries, and of course
GRAPES of various colors. In many cases these Wines are bottled in attractive packaging , making them great gifts representing the newly emerging Winery Industry in Souther Indiana.
We may not be the Napa Valley, or even the Finger Lakes of New York, but we can raise our pinkies with the rest of you! Not every beverage in the Ohio Valley comes from Wally World in a 5 Liter Plastic Bag !
