Tasted fine by me. The brisket was every bit as good as I had at Jack Stacks in KC and the ribs were perfect in pulling off the bone. I didn't have to or desire to doctor them with any of the numerous sauces they lined up on the table. I think because Famous Dave's is a chain and did not originate in North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas City or Austin, TX that people just put it in their minds it is not real BBQ. The Minnetonka Famous Daves we went to was designed as a classic northwoods road house and is probably better than most of their locations since it is in the city of their headquarters. We ate out on the patio. The view of Highway 7 cars and trucks was not as nice as the lake side view in Hayward, WI.
