There is more dressing underneath the beef...my version of healthfood except for the fried Parmesean, garlic, toast

You keep putting Brisket in non traditional roles.
Do folks back there not cotton to the idea of BBQ'd Brisket, the way God intended for it to be made?

Actually I wasn't aware of specific guidelines for serving Brisket, my feeling is if it works, serve it, it's no different than a steak salad, people on health kicks usually order it. A dollar says you'd like it Bill!

Oh, I didn't say I wouldn't like it, just wondering if folks there don't consider it as a part of BBQ.

Hey CTF, How would it be if you put the Caesar salad on a larger plate and fanned the beef so you could see the salad better, it may also be easier to eat. ........................Great job buddy.........

I'll take it as is, no need for a dollar.

Question: Did you make the dressing, too?

Nice although I'd like the brisket cut into smaller pieces. That's just nit picking though.

Actually I don't really know, no one has ever said anything, since this isn't Lockhart,Texas, folks are happy to get good brisket any way they can, I suppose.

No I don't, I would, but the shelf life is so short on homemade Ceasar salad dressing, due to the raw eggs I use for family dinner Ceasar salad dressing, I use a "Ken's"Ceasar, has the chemicals to preserve, and kill us I guess, but it really does taste good!

Are you suggesting that God doesn't intend for people to eat corned beef with cabbage, or the baked brisket commonly served at a Seder?

I live in Texas and God knows how much I love great smoked BBQ brisket. But, are you trying to tell me me God wouldn't approve of my late mom's Russian/Jewish braised (for hours) pot roasted brisket that melts in your mouth?

Hell, chewingthefat. I'd give YOU a dollar for it! And, If it's not supposed to be BBQ, why do I see a smoke ring?

I'd like my meat separate from the salad, please. BTW, it Looks YUMMY!

Yes, God would approve of Corned Beef and Pastrami, and a good Jewish Brisket is always a religious experience,
but God hisself is an indirect hickory smoke and rub with the Devil's sauces kind of guy. You don't think he keeps the Devil around just for fun, do ya?
