I'm just not so sure I want to have dinner with them or have them judge me on the coffee I drink."

Hope Amanda checks out this site and thread...she needs to learn a lesson!!!!

It's possible she may be somewhat burned out in her job.  The things we love as hobbies turn out not to be so appealing as full-time jobs.  Just like that great, cool friend is fun to hang out with but you wouldn't necessarily want to share living quarters with him.  She may have started out loving it but has reached a saturation point as many of us do.  Just my 2 cents.

It's funny, but I'd really like to know the best place to get doughnuts around here!  The last independent doughnut shop in Miami-Dade county closed.  If a replacement opens up, I want to know about it.
 
I certainly don't share the views of the writer(s), mostly.  I guess the only painful thing is the food-obsessed who are ignorant about it.

I kind of liked the article, there was a lot of truth to it. Did she maybe go overboard a little, sure - but we are discussing it here so her mission is accomplished!
