**Mexican Fried Bananas ** **Ingredients - ** 4 semi-ripe bananas

1 cup dark sugar

4 tablespoons butter

Juice of 2 oranges

½ cup powdered sugar

½ cup sour cream

1 tablespoon grated orange rind

**Method:** Peel the bananas and cut them once lengthwise then half once.

Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the bananas on all sides until golden.

Mix the rind, juice and sugar together and pour this mixture over the bananas.

Simmer for 10 minutes over a medium heat.

Transfer the bananas to serving bowls.

Combine the powdered sugar and sour cream and pour this mixture over the bananas.

Serve at once.
