just read the review of tuckers in cincy- too bad about the robbery...saw the pic of goeta , had never heard of it before but hope to make its aquintence someday...it looks alot like scrapple- for any who have tried both , whats the difference?

Goetta is spelled with two t's the wiki article explains the difference between goetta and scrapple. You will only find goetta in or around Cincinnati. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goetta

Goetta is ground meat mixed with oats, scrapple is ground meat mixed with cornmeal.I am sure spices are individual to both. Goetta is native to Cincy, scrapple's origins are Penn.Dutch.
