Any fans here? 1/2 lemonade, 1/2 ice tea, we sell quite a bit, suprising, but I must say, I enjoy them!

I don't drink them, but I find some amusement when my 55 year old brother orders one for himself and his wife. I like my tea straight up. Sweet.

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Palmer plays golf for money on Sundays.

You know, they'd do really well on the sale if they sold me one and charged for a lemonade. Simply charge for the more expensive drink and dilute it with cheap tea. They win and I get the drink I want.

Costco Lunch-----Polish Sausage, onions and deli mustard. Arnold Palmers from the Soda Machine (sometimes a little strange if they have the flavored tea instead of the straight iced tea. Arnold Palmer's just the thing to go with the dog!

Jungle Jim's had a sale on the cans one week, and I loved it in the cans. Then a sale on the 1/2 gallon version the next week, and that had NO lemonade taste. I get the zero calorie version. This is made by Arizona tea company and is Gluten Free, so can be drank by my Celiac grand daughter. The canned version makes a good mixer with a shot of whatever you choose in it. I just got back from Austin and learned to like 'Texas Tea' really fast. Chewie, do a lot of your patrons carry flasks ? Inquiring minds..........

I don't like the taste of lemon with iced tea. Seems to me that lemonade probably tastes sort of lemony. So if it's in iced tea ... well?

I make a Lee Trevino version with Alcohol. I'll be making 5 Gallons for my Siete de Mayo party. (Because we can't get drunk on a Thursday.) Lemonade Iced Tea 1.75L Sweet Tea Vodka 750 ml Grain Alcohol 6 Limes, halved, squeezed and thrown in. 1 Bunch of Fresh Mint, chopped and tied in cheesecloth, floated.

I do like the 50-50 Lemonade and tea combination. At some of the family get-togethers we may add a bit of Knob Creek to the individual beverage cups (think BIG GULP or SONIC HIGHWAY 44 size). But usually we just drink the non-alcoholic version !

MellowRoast Yes, I enjoy it, too. Tried to get Chick-Fil-A to serve me one (they sell both fresh-squeezed lemonade and ice tea), and they refused. Couldn't get a reason why. It would be a NATURAL for them. The only thing I can think of is that their lemonade costs more than their iced tea. I've never had Chik-Fil-A say no to any request, though if I want to exchange a coupon for a different item, I do say up front I'll pay the difference.

MellowRoast No, I asked them to charge me for a lemonade and fill half of the cup with tea. Wow, that's amazing (and also sad to hear). One time a cashier wasn't sure if she could 'upgrade' me by charging more, but asked the manager who had no problem with it. I hope this was an anomoly in your case, as, again, I've never had anything but the best service at any chik-Fil-A

Yes, I agree, Chick-Fil-A offers outstanding, friendly service, so I think it was just a bad day behind the counter. I'm a huge Chick-Fil-A fan and have great deal of respect for the company and the founder.

We use a version similar to the one by foodbme and call it a "naughty Arnold". Try adding a sprig of fresh mint.

I was reading the beverage forum, started thinking about lemonade and iced tea. Lo and behold I spied the Arizona Arnold Palmer lite at Aldi's---- $2.99 for a gallon container. Tastes good to me, so I will go back to the store and stock up for these Georgia hot summer months.

I try to avoid too much sugar, so my Arnold Palmer is 1/2 Unsweetened Iced Tea, and 1/2 Crystal Light. It's satisfying...
