Are they good?  Are they bad?  Do you like them?  Are they large?  Would you return?

What makes this hoagie better than any other? For my money, the best hoagie in Pittsburgh is Danny's, in South Park.

I was mostly pointing size and quality. 5 inches high by about 13 inches long, maybe 14. I pop it into the turbo oven and come as out great. You see they insert paper be between the veggies so the bread does not get soggy. $8 ?? Where else???
I have heard and seen of another place around Pittsburgh that has monster hoagies.

Last we week I went back to my old favorite, Chicken Derby in Pleasant Hills. They had great Italian hoagies and still do, but for $10. All their prices are have increased. They do toast them. Have not had any hoagies from South Park for 40 years.

I think a lot of places make good hoagies

DiCarlos is a little grocery deli, and chicken derby is also a deli.

It's all gone but I can't say exactly. Of course the bread is thick. I mash it down to eat. I have seen hoagies with more meat and cheese.

Had it for lunch yesterday, dinner yesterday, and lunch today, plus another person had it for lunch yesterday. All from the same loaf.

I've always been a fan of the Triangle Bar & Grill in Swissvale.

That hoagie looks pretty good, but I can't decide between Triangle or Danny's.

I forgot they renamed it Chicken Derby. It used to be Frisch's. There is/was also one in Caste Village and in Carrick next to the old Isaly's (closed). Had killer pizza and chicken too.

I went to Baldwin High School.

Those chicken places use high pressure cookers. The chicken has little grease and dry.
I think the a Bill Greens place deli was part of Sun Drug and next to it was Chicken Derby, somehow is now combined. they now fixed the place and is now a lot nicer.
