The "Ices Granny" of the Bronx

After more than 25 years of selling flavored ices thru her 2nd floor apartment window, this Bronx Granny is suddenly getting a lot of press about her "underground" (aboveground??) operation. Now that the word is out, why do I think the NY Board of Health is going to stick thier nose in and ruin this?

The article says that she sells about 30 ices on a busy day - at 50 cents a pop.  I can't imagine that the NYC Board of Health has the time to go and track this woman down.

Sadly, I would say that they are almost certain to shut down this operation now that it's been plastered all over the internet by the Daily News.  It's simply not legal, and now there's going to be throngs of curiosity seekers clammoring outside her window.  She should have declined the publicity.
