Congratulations!  I would love to find a Panini press for $2!!!!  You can now make a thousand different variations of grilled sandwiches.  Start with a Cuban, or maybe prosciutto, provolone, tomato and fresh basil.  The possibilities are endless.  Experiment and enjoy.

I bought mine at a similar type sale. I paid $29.00 for a Wolfgang Puck model. You got an amazing deal.
As far as recipes, use a sturdy, crusty type bread or rolls. No soft white or wheat.

About 15 years ago, I did buy a beautifully seasoned and cared for, 100 year old heavy Wagner 10" cast iron pan for $10.00 at an outdoor "flea market". I use it at least twice a week.
