Anyone else had 'em?

I'm surprised that the simply delicious products turned-

out from this more than 60-year-old Maine Bakery (169

Gilman Falls Avenue in Old Town, Maine) have yet to be

even mentioned on this site?

I've only had LaBree's packaged six-pack donuts which

are fairly ubiquitous in Maine markets (and include flavors

ranging from chocolate coconut to chocolate sugar to molasses

to cinnamon sugar to plain to plain sugar to plain coconut and

to plain crunch but, boy, are they good. They are homey with the

lightest of crunches on the outside which only give way to the

most moist of insides.

They are truly a coffee-lover's perfect companion.

Again, anyone else had' em?

I have tried them, and enjoyed them, but am still reeling from the fact you apparently disregarded my advice and did not visit the Friar's Bake Shop in nearby Bangor.

I wasn't anywhere near Bangor. I was only referring to having enjoyed the store bought version of LaBree's Donuts (which are common in markets throughout Maine).

That said, I accept your apology.

Ohhh...sincere apologies. I thought you were in the Old Town area, not referring to some week old donuts you picked up at a convenience store.

Hey, speaking of which, I had picked up these marvelous cookies down and the nozzle and nosh yesterday...ohhh they were divine!!!

yeah, I got your apology right here smart guy.
