I would LOVE to! But...carbs. That's why I use so many kinds of beans. If I added noodles, she would refuse to eat it and I'd never hear the end of it.

Tonight I did crab au gratin with peas, and roasted eggplant.

Felix - What about using Shirataki Noodles?
They are virtually carb free (0 Net Carbs) and arent that bad of a substitute for pasta

My local Krogers has them

This is the brand that I buy. They come packed in water, when opened they have an off smell, rinse thoroughly and drop into boiling water for 3 minutes, drain well then pat dry on paper towels otherwise your sauce will be very watery. Since there is no starch, the noodles will not absorb water like regular pasta.
They have very little taste on their own, so use a well made flavorful sauce with them.

I'll have to look for them next time I'm at the store. Can't hurt, might help. Thanks!

I've been cooking lately, but so dang busy I haven't had time to take pictures or post them if I did. Tonight, however...Moroccan-spiced chicken with couscous and broccoli; zucchini, summer squash and onion blanched and seasoned with dill.

Felix, I would leave those vegetables on my plate... sorry.

I just finished a bowl of coconut banana ice cream.  Won't buy that again.

I forgot.  It followed a bowl of matzoh ball soup.

I need more green vegetables.

Ralph's (Kroger's) discounts their meat the day before the date they're not supposed to sell it.

Today I picked up a package of 4 beautiful country pork ribs for $4.56.

Here are my two:

I bought the macaroni salad as it's perfect that way.

Ha!  Mar, I recently made a pork roast and sweet potato biscuits but had no green veggies with it--didn't take a pic because it was so monotone.

My son Kyle's 19th birthday is today so we ordered his favorite meal from Ray's Brick Oven Pizza in Montvale, NJ.
His all time favorite, pepperoni and bacon pizza.

A pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pie.

Fried calamari.

Hot wings

Their pizza has a nice thin crust but not so thin it can's hold up to multiple toppings. The cake is in the oven, chocolate with vanilla frosting!

I happened to have the bananas.... again so they were included.  I think 3 slices would have been plenty.

A loaf of Mrs. Baird's (made by Bimbo) weighs probably 3 times the weight of our local Bimbo bread.

I like dense, heavy bread.

Planning on barbecueing (grilling) some chicken this evening (if the weather cooperates). Sides: yellow squash, fried in bacon grease with onions, white rice and a salad.
