Hot Thomas, owner of the legendary restaurant south of Watkinsville GA, has died. Fri, 09/2/11 4:42 PM (permalink)
Just about the saddest news I've read in a while.  I was a regular when I lived in Athens.  Hadn't been in ages, but we had the good fortune to visit in June.  I was stunned by how the stroke had slowed him and wished him well, knowing he couldn't have had too much longer, but I had no idea the pain was so bad.

That is sad news indeed, especially with the fate of the restaurant being unknown.
