Getting rid of the Roadfood poll - Mon, 01/23/12 1:55 PM

If no one is interested in keeping this poll up to date, why is it just not  dropped?  We have been looking at the same thing for weeks.

Well, in that case, I will be glad to fill in!

What is your favorite food to serve on Super Bowl Sunday?

1.  chips and dip

2.  wings

3.  pizza

4.  a regional favorite for one of the teams, or both

5. A giant sub

6  Everyone brings a favorite appetizer and drink

7  none of the above

Regional would be fun but I'm for someone else doing the cooking.

What's regional New York?  {ducking}

Do you want the 1950 version or today's version?

How about getting rid of the poll along with the thing about buying the 2011 calendar that's dated in 2010?

Overly complex, over priced pizza and burgers seems to be a big thing right now.

I was going to go with Papusas, Pho, and anything else Korean or West African.

The 1950's way out of date and antiquated version - Pizza and Kosher (style) deli.

I'd opt for #6 but since we're staying home and not having company this year it will be #1 with veggies included for the dip as well.  Also, we'll be enjoying beer and perhaps a pizza.

Do you mean regional New York City or for New York State?

We'll be at home and will reflect the older habits from events like SuperBowl's 2 and 7 !!
Chips, Dips (Shrimp & Onion-veggie) and a Veggie Tray from Costco. Sliced summer sausage and other tube-steak pieces with crackers.
Redneck Sours (Bourbon & Mountain Dew) and a six pack of Shiner Boch.
Not sure what Janet is having !

Oh... I take #6 for my Poll entry.
