Vermont, other than Burlington

I'll be traveling around Vermont for several days in the spring.  I'm familiar enough with Burlington, plus there are plenty of reviews available for restaurants there.  I'd appreciate any suggestions for places to eat outside of Burlington, anywhere in the state.  (I was disappointed to learn here that Dot's Restaurant has closed due to hurricane damage, since I had read such nice comments about it previously.)  Thank you!

We had an outstanding dinner and breakfast at the Dorset Inn. My writeup:

Bummer about Dot's. We ate there several years ago during a trip. It was really quirky and enjoyable. I have NEVER seen chili that thick before or after. " />

Ditto on everything Ralph said about the food & service at the Dorset Inn. It's not exactly on the way to (or from) anywhere, but it's definitely worth the trip and picture postcard perfect when you get there.
The Inn is more like a hotel than your typical country inn (e.g., long corridors) but well kept and comfy w/ good amenities.
When Mrs QFan & I stayed there last summer, the bar and dining room served the famous Trapp family (Sound of Music fame) micro brew in their dining room. DELICIOUS!!! We couldn't resist seconds since we were staying in the Inn.
Overall, a great RF choice, although a bit on the pricey side.

Thanks!  I won't be staying in Dorset but will be visiting Grafton, which isn't far, so I'll plan a visit to the Dorset Inn restaurant.

The burger that I enjoyed at the Kitchen Table Bistro in Richmond two and a half years ago hasn't been matched by any other that I've tried since, so I have to recommend that place.

Hello, I remembered that I posted here that's Dot's restaurant had closed, so I wanted to share that it has reopened, in case anyone is ever headed that way in Vermont:
